Miltec’s ignitor bulb is specified for use into 10 inch (25.4 cm) microwave powered UV lamp housings. The benefit of having an ignitor bulb installed will help ensure fast and consistent starting of your microwave powered UV lamp system, and will eliminate those nuisance “lamp out” faults caused by slow starting UV bulbs. Ignitor bulbs have proven to be extremely beneficial for starting all electrodeless UV bulbs.
